Chinatown, fortune cookie and Toothpick "Gina"

 In Chinatown, NYC, empty counters with hundreds of requests hanging on a string.

What were these people looking for? The yakissoba or the chicken? Are they done serving?


At peak 1960's people were looking for answers from Communist China about the LIG - Line Identity Gadgets, of which the USA rendered as WIG (Wireless Identity Gadget) and TIM (Timer Identity Mark) - the alias, that Brazil knows as GIP (Gadget Identity Point) or GAIP (gerador de alteração de identidade provisória). In the US, in the 1960's, Chinatown started closing some traditional restaurant's doors, because of overload of requests.


But...


Chinatown's clients didn't wish for the dish: they wished from the fortune cookie with a message of wisdom inside.

Chinatown's message was that: the cookies look the same, but the content inside is different from one another. Likewise, chinese people looked the same to Westerns, but the message of life and backgrounds were different. And that's what it counts. On the other hand, unnoticed Americans traded on the black market for illegal chinese LIG (line identity gadgets)/alias, trying to leap over USA WIGs and TIMs on a deserting way of riot.


So, everybody in America was involved with those WIG/TIM/alias somehow, and wanted to know the difference within themselves that prevailed on who they actually were: what remains from the cover changed?


The ballast and sustaintability for the restaurants in the West of USA were these fortune cookies. The traditional restaurants in Chinatown weren't at service, but the ballast on the fortune cookies gave Chinese immigrants a percent in all and every restaurant built on USA territory (though the USA were not at consume of the Chinese CACs; Chinese immigants pioneered the restaurant business until the new fast-foods took over).


The fortune cookies look the same thought the message inside isn't the same. Similarly, the Gina toothpick was always the same package and content, thought each restaurant had different food and the environment was different each place.

"What do you mean, Mr? That I should leave my wife and look for a different house night after night?"

"No, sir. In your home you have your tooth brush, inside a cup together with your wife's, right? The toothpick Gina is for eating out....."


"But Gina....ain't it Va-gina?"

"No....it is the name of the lady that portrays the toothpick package!"

"Oh-oh....I thought Gina was the waitress at the restaurant I went on lunch time yesterday and....."

"Was she blond by any chance?"

"No. She was a brunette...."

"Oh-oh...."


Similarly to Chinatown's toothpick, toothpick Gina is the ballast for keeping the food flowing at restaurants in Brazil 24/7/395/60. They are at TISE (TSE) and it is considered a Commodity under bür and as TSE: BIR; at Nasdaq as BIRD
